Listen "The Juice with Jeff #256"
Episode Synopsis
On this episode of the podcast, Dave Nellis conducts and co-produces an excellent interview with me thru Zoom. This is Dave's debut and first time on the podcast.
During the interview, we bring up the following subjects:
1. Dave asks me to talk about how I enjoy doing audio production and podcasts as a hobby, even though I don't do podcasting or audio production for a living. At the end of this part of the interview, Dave stressed how one doesn't need to do something for a living in order to enjoy it, and I strongly agree with Dave on this.
2. We talked for a few minutes about Colorado where Dave lives.
3. I go into depth about how I have become really passionate about the films which were originally presented as Roadshow Theatrical engagements, along with how The Blues Brothers was originally planned to be a nearly three hour roadshow presentation with an Intermission and Entracte. I go into detail about the DVD's in my "Roadshow Theatrical Film Minyan".
4. Dave and I share memories from our Valley High School days. I tell Dave about several major changes which have occurred with the VHS grounds as well as how Valley Stadium and the Maplenol Dairy Barn have relocated to another part of West Des Moines.
