A Multilingual Chatbot Can Effectively Engage Arthroplasty Patients Who Have Limited English Proficiency – this study was conducted to evaluate whether a multilingual chatbot could effectively engage LEP patients and improve their outcome after total joint.
Decreased Patellar Fractures and Subluxation With Patellar Component Replacement at Stage-One Spacer – Because periprosthetic joint infection is a devastating complication of total knee arthroplasty and often treated with 2-stage revision, we retrospectively assessed in this study whether replacing the patellar component with articulating stage-one spacers was associated with improved outcomes compared to
spacers without patellar component replacement.
Motivations and Barriers for Women Orthopaedic Surgeons Considering Arthroplasty Fellowship – With arthroplasty being one of the least gender-diverse orthopaedic subspecialties and very few studies conducted to understand decisions for or against arthroplasty specifically, we thought that with this study it would be important to look into fellowship choice by women as that’s a very critical step in the process of increasing women recruitment.
