When an important personality like Sadhguru makes a statement that Yoga being Hindu is a myth (Myth #1 - Yoga comes from Hinduism), he does great disservice to both Hinduism aka Sanatana Dharma, and to Yoga. I know where he and Isha Sansthan are coming from - that Yoga is universal and all inclusive, but so is Hinduism. that has not stopped the assaults on Hinduism from the exclusivist religions and other dogmas such as Communism. Melissa Kapoor is extremely upset as a British Hindu, and Prof Bharat Gupt has his own scholarly perspective.
