Our guest is Patrick Allaway - one of the Country's most highly respected company directors and businessmen.

His current interests include as Chairman and Non-Executive Director of the Bank of Queensland, Independent Director of Dexus Funds Management Limited, Non-Executive Director of Allianz Australia and Chairman of the Giant Steps Endowment Fund.

Prior to these roles, he was a Board Member of Nine Entertainment and Fairfax Media, as well as a Non-Executive Director of Woolworths South Africa, Country Road Group, David Jones & Metcash Limited.

Upon graduating from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law degree, Patrick spent more than two decades in the financial services and investment banking industries both domestically and internationally, including five years as Managing Director, Capital Markets at UBS London and three years at Macquarie Goodman.

In 2003, he Co-Founded and became Executive Chairman of Saltbush Capital Markets, a privately owned boutique corporate advisory business.
