Our special guest is Adrian Loader, Co-Founder of Allegro Funds - one of Australia's preeminent private equity firms with a capital base exceeding some $4bn of assets under management and a highly-successful eighteen-year track record of producing outstanding investment results.

Alongside Chester Moynihan, Adrian established Allegro Funds in two-thousand-and-four with a specific mandate on sourcing turnaround and transformational deal opportunities, including from within sectors as broad as tourism, transportation, logistics, retail and healthcare - partnering with existing management teams & stakeholders to enhance value and create more resilient operating models.

Following the success of its inaugural fund, the business has since launched three separate funds to market including Allegro Fund II (now closed), Allegro Fund III (active) and Allegro Fund IV (active).

In addition to his current position as Managing Director of Allegro, he is also Chairman of Toll Global Express, Chairman of Discovery Parks Group & Chairman of JSW Australia.

Adrian is a graduate of the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws degree and is a Qualified Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales.

He is also a Chartered Accountant and previously served as both the President (2010-2011) and Chairman (2011-2012) of the Turnaround Management Association of Australia - the peak industry network dedicated to encouraging boards and directors to engage with turnaround professionals early in the event of significant distress or uncertainty.
