Listen "Plant Medicine"
Episode Synopsis
Today we shed the fear and traditional societal teachings about cannabis, psilocybin, and ayahuasca in order to explore the potential for these plants to be used for medicinal purposes. We have been hearing about these plants from our clients for years, and we are starting to see more news publications acknowledging the potential benefits for mental health. Could these plants really shift from their history of outlawed-shame to become the mental and spiritual health allies that perhaps they were originally intended to be? As a couple of holistic practitioners, we are excited by these possibilities!** DISCLAIMER: We acknowledge that in many areas there are still legal issues to using these plants so our discussion is based on anecdotal reports from clients. If you are interested in learning more please find QUALIFIED practitioners and check your state or country's laws. We do not advocate putting yourself at risk of health or legal recourse to explore these plant medicine options. Please talk to your licensed practitioners and fully educate yourself with well-researched data.If you are struggling with addiction issues to these, or any other substances, you can seek help at Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration National Hotline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357)For more information, visit https://www.InspiredBeingLLC.com and https://www.LionHeartMedicineLLC.comFollow Liz on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube: @InspiredBeingLLCFollow Dave on Facebook and Instagram: @LionHeartMedicineLLCMusic credit: Chris Bachman
