Season 4, Episode 10Dr. Barbara L. Peacock. Barbara is a spiritual director, author, and preacher. She is the founder of Barbara L. Peacock Ministries, a ministry committed to developing disciples through prayer, spiritual direction, soul care, mentoring, and teaching. Dr. Peacock enjoys traveling, writing, exercising, eating good food and playing games like Scrabble, Every Word and Sudoku. She has been married to her husband Gilbert for 42 years. Barbara has a Doctor of Ministry with a focus on spiritual formation for ministry leaders from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. She authored the award-winning book, Soul Care in African American Practice, in 2020 and has an upcoming book release, Spiritual Practices for Soul Care: 40 Ways to Deepen Your Faith, set for August 2023.
