Season 3 Episode 8 was the first ever live episode of The Immigrant Hustle, and it was recorded as part of Meta Arts Festival. In this episode, Noyz & B Magic were joined by chef/entrepreneur Rick Matharu, and poet/editor of Newest Magazine/creative director of The Glass Museum, Harjot Ghuman-Matharu. Rick and Harjot discuss their families moving from Punjab to the Greater Toronto Area, the importance of their mothers in their development as artists and business owners, creating honest art, the challenges of scaling up as an entrepreneur, investing in yourself, creating new platforms that more accurately reflect the experience of people of colour in Canada, and so much more.
