Listen "Ep. 88: Self-Care For Women"
Episode Synopsis
This episode marks the culmination of our celebration of Women's History Month this March. March has been memorable! We had guests on our show providing their valuable stories. I've had the pleasure of engaging with incredible women this month and it has been a great journey of learning and understanding. In this episode I talked about: · How women can find a balance between our traditional roles and altruism · My personal experience about some things prevalent in our communities, especially when coming from a communal culture · We carry so much for our families but remember self-care is paramount because you cannot give from an empty cup · The mental load that we carry and what boundaries we may need to implement in your life · How to recognize if you are suffering from burnout and some tips to prevent it. Resources mentioned in the episode: 1. 988 mental health hotline is a 24/7 service via a toll-free hotline in the US.
