Happy New Year! This week is a solo episode where I talk about human trafficking and some statistics. Human trafficking is considered a modern form of slavery. It's the exploitation of other unwilling people for labor, domestic, servitude, or commercial sexual activity by force, fraud, or coercion. January 11 is National Human Trafficking Awareness Day. I hope that my listeners learn more about this issue and increase their level of awareness of the crime of human trafficking.
