Jamie Leech, Jamie has shown and opened me up to what it takes to become a mechanic at the highest level. The sacrifice he has made and the effort he puts into his work is unimaginable. When I picture mechanics, it's always the same sitting around waiting for the car to pull in because, after all, this is all you see on TV. The camera pans to a group of guys watching a monitor, and then for 5 seconds, they are moving around the car and then forgotten about. But this is far from the truth. The constant travel, training, and skill required to sit down and watch a monitor is immense, and it is through getting to know Jamie that I can appreciate that even more.
