This month The Ideas Exchange celebrates International Women’s Day and ASX’s Helen Chong spoke to Rachel White, Head of Product Strategy for Vanguard Australia.

They discuss the changing face of Australian investing – from the growth of younger investors to the increased market participation by women investors. Rachel shares her wealth of insights about how women invest differently to men, how to use investing to achieve longer-term financial goals, plus shares her tips on key resources that are useful for all investors.

In this role, Rachel leads the team responsible for researching and developing new products and solutions for the Australian business. Rachel held a similar role in Vanguard's U.K. business based in London for two years.

Prior to joining Vanguard in August, 2015, Rachel gained experience in the financial services industry holding product and strategy roles at organisations such as PM Capital Limited and National Australia Bank.

Rachel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a CFA Charterholder.
