The 1941 Disney Studio strike was pivotal moment in the history of the company. It unionized Disney employees for the first time but it also created division for some. The Disney Revolt: The Great Labor War of Animation's Golden Age is the first book to dive deep into this essential era in Disney history and look at all sides. We're excited to talk with author Jake Friedman in the first part of a two part conversation.
