Five years of Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI) activities are the result of John F. Kennedy University’s vision to serve our community’s Latinos through higher education. Dr. Judy Castro, AVP of Student Experience and HSI Project Director, shares five years of HSI grant accomplishments supporting students, faculty, staff, and our local community. She discusses the need to continue raising awareness of the value of higher education to prepare Latinos for leadership positions as the U.S. Latino population grows to 30% by 2030.
