I joined the school choir at the age of 5, and singing became part of my identity as I explored choral, jazz, and pop music. At age 16, I plunged into conducting the school choir to fill a leadership void, and have been teaching and leading ensembles ever since.
I graduated from Brown University in 2017 and explored consulting, F&B operations, and tech, but was always singing, teaching, and directing music on the side. In 2019, I pivoted completely in pursuit of my passion full time - to spread the same joy and fulfillment that I’ve had in music.
Today, I have a private voice studio teaching 1:1 and small group lessons. I also run a cappella programs to broaden access and build community. In 2020, based on philosophies developed through my lifetime in music, I created The Vocal Gym to deliver high-quality singing education in a way that is effective, accessible and fun.
