Episode Synopsis
E199 - CO-HOST - Jen Jones Donatelli - Find Your Groove as a Multipotentialite and Identifying Greatness in Others
Are you someone who loves to do #allthethings? If so, you’ll find your happy place here at Creative Groove! We offer classes, community, and coaching around writing, creativity, freelance success, and the Artist’s Way. Pull up a chair (or magic carpet)—all are welcome here.
Jen is the founder of Creative Groove and what Emilie Wapnick would call a multi-potentialite. I often joke that I’ve had nine professional lives, having worked in various capacities in entertainment, journalism, event planning, education, and as a solopreneur. The common threads that tie my eclectic career path together? Creativity and storytelling. I’m also a Diet Coke devotee, twin mama, and California girl-turned-Clevelander who’s passionate about helping others get their groove back…and I’m so glad you’re here!
Here’s how we define “creative groove:” a state of flow in which anything feels possible. Over time, it’s easy to become burnt out, disconnected, or just blah—thanks to the demands of the daily grind or a gradual misalignment with our values and goals. At Creative Groove, we serve as what Artist’s Way author Julia Cameron would call a “creative chiropractor” to help you get back in alignment and reignite your spark. Our goal is to empower you to find your version of flow (and have fun along the way)!
Dave finds out that he just might be a "multipotentialite" - those of us with many interests, many jobs over a lifetime, and many interlocking potentials.
