June 12, 2025My guest today is the amazingly talented star of reality TV, the owner of Bainbridge Island’s most eclectic hair salon and the producer and lead in a documentary we have the honor of screening the West Coast premiere of next Friday night. The doc, LATTER DAY GLORY, is Jonathon Levi Powell’s, message of hope. The synopsis says, “Two gay ex-Mormom missionaries travel across the US to confront their past and explore their futures while discussing it with other gay Mormons.” But after my conversation with Jonny - and watching the trailer several times this week as part of our pre-show entertainment - I feel this condensed brief leaves a lot on the cutting room floor. No spoilers here, but anyone who listens to the ‘cast and hears the passion and commitment that went into the making of this effort will immediately recognize that heart, soul, sincerity and purpose are sometimes difficult to properly put into words, abbreviated or not.
