With climate change, there have been more heat waves. This lead me to thinking about our use of air conditioning and the cost associated with it. In this episode, I talk about how much energy and money is saved by setting the thermostat to a warmer temperature in the summer and cooler temperature in the winter. This could be done all the time, or only when no one is home. I go over the cost of air conditioning per hour and measures of efficiency for AC units.
