For the next five weeks we will take a break from using the Revised Common Lectionary, and dive in to a series using the theme Created to Be. This theme connects us with the bible study curriculum used by Lutheran Outdoor Ministries around the country, include Flathead Lutheran Bible Camp. It also connects us with the ELCA National Youth Gathering that will take place in New Orleans later this month.
This is the first week of the series and the theme is Created to Be Free. The Good Word comes from Ephesians 2:4-10. Here, Paul reminds the early church at Ephesus of the gift of grace, given freely to us through faith, that we are called to share with others.
