I know some people might think that Jesus created a religion which would be called Christianity, but Jesus never intended to create a religion. His purpose was for us to create a relationship with Him. I know it sounds weird but there is actually many differences between the two. Even looking at the interactions with Jesus and the Pharisees, you can tell of the differences of the two fairly easy.
