After a little fall break Nick and Matt are back with a new GTAD episode and welcome the incumbent Executive Director of the NIAAA, Phil Rison.

Starting off Phil shares his journey from a teacher in Kentucky to the NIAAA office in Indiana before the conversation turns to the NADC or National Athletic Directors Conference. The NADC is the biggest conference in the world for athletic directors which might have close to 3000 ADs this December in Nashville. There is still plenty of time to join Nick and Matt in Nashville. Phil is the current Associate Executive Director of the NIAAA but will take over the Executive Director role this January. Phil talks about what he thinks about his move and some of the changes that have already started to take place in the organization. Of course to close out the show Phil talks about a must see in his home state of Kentucky but also his favorite place overseas.
