LaToya is a Relationship Coach and Master’s level Therapist, specializing in working with couples who desire to improve their relationships. She has completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology at National University in Sacramento, CA, and my Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling Psychology and Theology from William Jessup University in Rocklin, CA. LaToya has spent the last fourteen years working in numerous environments, with many different populations, including working with children, teenagers, college students and adults needing support in addressing trauma, substance abuse, criminal justice involvement and homelessness, as well as a wide-variety of other concerns and challenges. However, she most enjoys working with couples having relationship concerns because she feels that the most effective way to help people work through difficulties in their relationship is to be able to sit with both partners, and learn about each person’s perspective on the challenges they are facing. LaToya is Level 3 trained in utilizing the Gottman Method, and utilizes this evidence-based model’s techniques in her work with couples. In addition, LaToya is a Brainspotting Practitioner and she can provide this treatment during coaching sessions to help clients address individual life stressors. During her coaching sessions, LaToya works to help couples develop the necessary skills needed to maintain sustaining love.
