Bhavani Visakaperumal is a special person. At a young age, she was filled with grace, love and happiness.  Born in Jaffna, Sri Lanka, she maintained this inner peace throughout her life, even during the war and an abusive marriage.  Her courage, strength and deep sense of self carried her through difficult times, darkness, and the good times, too.
She loves her life and her job that is her passion.  She currently lives in Toronto, Canada and is working for Tesoc Multicultural Settlement and Community Services helping immigrants settle into Canadian life.
Bhavani is an active participant and proponent of Peace Education Program (PEP) which helps participants discover their own inner resources and the possibility of personal peace.

Bhavani is actively engaged with Valluvam Inc., an NGO registered in Canada that provides ongoing essential support to refugees affected and displaced by war. They have been living in several non-signatories to UN refugee convention Countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and India.
Valluvam extends assistance with finances, education (children and young adults), life skills training, sponsorship, legal aid, medical consultations, and more.
