The Barbie Movie is the biggest box office blockbuster of the year so far. But, Barbie was a worldview. She started out a call girl for German men in 1959. She was made both a sex symbol and a feminist at the same time (self-defined, you can be whatever you want to be). She was out to seek role equality for women. Meanwhile, men were reduced to lap dogs, "accessories," partners in sexual sin, irresponsible louts, immature little boys playing computer games, and worst case, "sexual predators."
