It's weird, but for our Salomon Central Episode, we invited a Salomon rep onto the show to chat, well, Salomon gear. Lance Taylor, the local rep for the iconic mountain brand who lives and works in Ogden out of the American Can Building housing parent company Amer Sports, spent some time chatting about the vastness of Salomon's footwear products, backpacks, and even upgraded shoes debuting in Spring exclusively in Ogden at GEAR:30.

For this week's News, we covered the Ogden Marathon registration, East Bench hikers rescued, a second death related to 2012 LOTOJA, a BASE jumper is rescued near Provo, Canyons Resort wins another award, rail jams begin, Adam Ondra climbs hardest route in the world, lead climbing only for 2020, forest service splatters mountain goats with paintballs, and for some reason, kids gator pool parties are considered unsafe.
