Listen "Fire: Fix VS Savior"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to today's episode of The Gathering Tabernacle podcast. On today's episode we welcome back Pastor Dan as he returns from his trip to Africa. Pastor Dan shares some thoughts/events about his trip and how good God is. God is so good that even when man messes up and only uses God as convenience, He is still there for us. We need to learn that Jesus did not come to earth to die for us and rise again so we can use Him as our genie in a bottle. He wants us to die to ourselves to allow Him to fill Himself within us to have an abiding relationship with Him. A lot of people use God as a fix rather than a savior. Savior doesn't mean a get out of hell free card, but it means you have been healed, restored, made whole, delivered, redeemed, and you can persevere through ANYTHING because of what Jesus Christ has done for you. God's word is enough to heal you. Are you following Jesus as your Lord and savior or are you only following Him when it is convenient for you? Are you a proclaimed Christian when at church or around certain people, but once you get home you have a different lifestlye? You do not have to continue living double lifestyles but rather allow Jesus access into your whole life to be born again, made new, and set free of the chains of bondage.
