Listen "It's Time To Reign 2"

Episode Synopsis

In the book of Ephesians, Paul wrote to people who were considered “faithful followers of Christ Jesus” yet he still admonished them to stop living as people apart from Christ —without God and without hope!  How should we respond when bad things happen around us or to us?  Is our response in alignment with ‘reigning in life through Jesus Christ?’
”So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. That, however, is not the way of life you learned when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.“ Ephesians‬ ‭4‬:‭17‬-‭18‬, ‭20‬-‭24‬ ‭NIV‬‬
Paul keeps going in Eph 4:23-24, “Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.  Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.” Renewing our thoughts and attitudes, our mind, will and emotions with God’s Word, is how we throw off the old conduct and put on our new—which enables us to “reign in life through Jesus Christ!”
