About Sandeep Maan:
Sandeep Singh Maan is an Indian Para Athlete competing in Men’s 100m, 200m, 400m and Long Jump events in the T46 Category. He is bronze medallist in Asian Para Games 2018 held in Jakarta, Indonesia. And three time silver medallist from the Asian Para Games; he won them at the 2010 and 2014 editions in Guangzhou, China and Incheon, Korea, respectively.
He received the Arjuna Award in 2016 for his outstanding sporting achievements, the Maharana pratap Award in 2012 from state sports council of Rajasthan, and the Aravali Award in 2019. He is a national record holder in 200m and 400m since 2012 .

Achievements:
He has represented India in the Asian Para Games, Asian Para Athletics Championships, Asian Championship, and IWAS World Games. In the Asian Para Games, Sandeep won a bronze medal in the 400m T46 category in 2018, and in 2014, he won three silver medals in the 400m T46, 200m T46, and 400m T46 events. He also won a silver medal in the 200m T46 category at the 2016 Asian Para Athletics Championships and a silver medal in the 200m T46 category at the 2016 Asian Championship. In international championships, Sandeep won two gold medals in the 400m T46 and 800m T46 events at the 2017 Paris meet. He also won six silver medals, two in the 200m T46 category and two in the 400m T46 category at the 2012 Kuwait and 2013 Germany meets respectively, and one each in the Long Jump T46 category and 200m T46 category at the 2013 Germany meet. Sandeep's outstanding performance also earned him three gold medals in the 200m T46, 400m T46, and 4x400m relay T46 events at the 2009 Bangalore IWAS World Games.
