Listen in as we talk with Jessica Smyser ([email protected]), Executive Director, of Brookline Interactive Group (BIG) in Brookline, MA.Jessica came to BIG from her most recent role as Executive Director at Cambridge Community Television. At CCTV she led with the goal of establishing the center as an inclusive, modern, and anti-racist organization. Key facets of her work included determining the organization’s future strategy focusing on Equity, Learning, and Revenue.She has also served as Director of Relationships and Reciprocity at the Academy for the Love of Learning in Santa Fe, a 501c3 non-profit organization founded by composers Aaron Stern and Leonard Bernstein, where she championed the power of learning and the arts, creating connection, healing, and justice for people of all ages. Jessica has also been an adjunct professor, teaching Leadership and Non-profit Management at the Van Loan School of Professional Studies at Endicott College. She holds a BA in American Studies from Smith College and a Master’s degree from Claremont Lincoln University in Organizational Leadership.
