Episode Synopsis

A Nassau County native, Hall of Famer Richie Moran attended Sewanhaka High School in Floral Park, New York in the 1950s. As a midfielder he helped his school post for undefeated seasons in lacrosse. He continued his lacrosse career at the University of Maryland cup in the terrapins win a national championship in 1959. From the 1960s to the 1990s, Moran served as a head lacrosse coach mentoring boys as they transitioned men at Manhasset High school, Elmont High School, and Cornell University. In 29 seasons at Cornell he lead his teams to three national championships and 15 Ivy League championships.
