Joining Bill in the studio for the first show of 2026 was Jim Danby, making a welcome return to the show. Jim played a great set of 8 original songs, some serious and some comical, including a Happy New Year song he'd written on Thursday 1st. Butter-fingers Bill managed to somehow catch a button which mute not only one of the playback channels but also the live stream, too, before full silence for the last 20 mins of the show. However, for this podcast a few songs have been added, including a song that Bill wrote the lyrics for and Jim wrote the music and recorded it, the rather appropriately-named Techno-Illogical Blues.
