What you think is critically important. God holds you responsible for what you think and the decisions you make. “As a man thinks in his heart, so he is” (Prov 23:7). Momentum in the Christian life is hearing and keeping God’s Word.  Your power comes from the filling of the Holy Spirit and the living Word of God. As goes your thoughts, so goes your spiritual life. Think with a divine viewpoint and you will have the happiness God intends for you. Satan wants to capture your thoughts, reclaim your affections, redirect your focus, distract you with the things of the world, redefine your values, and get you to doubt God’s love for you. Counter this with the Word of God in your soul.
