God does discipline us. The Bible says those whom He loves, He disciplines. Revelation 3:19, “Those whom I love, I reprove [or correct] and discipline; therefore, be zealous and repent.” There are two ways that God can teach us. He can teach us from instruction without pain or He can teach us from instruction with pain.
