Listen "Exporting IMF Distribution Packages - Flame 2020.1"
Episode Synopsis
This video shows the workflow of exporting an IMF distribution package from the Flame 2020.1 update.
The Interoperable Mastering Format or IMF has become a required deliverable for streaming platforms such as Netflix, etc.
Using the EasyDCP plug-in, Flame creates the package of files which are predictable in every aspect of broadcasting and can be customized by the broadcaster after they have received the IMF package.
This is fast becoming a mandatory requirement for broadcasters.
Please note that Flame ships with a demo version of Fraunhofer’s “EasyDCP plug-in for Flame” which is watermarked but it allows you to try out and test the exports.
To create IMF Distribution Packages with no limitations, you need to purchase a license of the plug-in from the EasyDCP website -- https://www.easydcp.com
