Listen "Episode 8: South Central Mujer Chronicles - Navigating Teen Pregnancy, Overcoming Violence, and Breaking Generational Cycles"

Episode Synopsis

✨In this episode, I got to interview the one and only Alondra Palacio. Alondra is a walking embodiment of a South Central native mujer. She is the daughter of Mexican immigrants. She attended John C Fremont High School, became a teen mom, overcame domestic violence, and was able to be part of the 2% of teen moms that earn their college before the age of 30. And this is just the surface. Alondra is passionate about helping other women gain their freedom from domestic violence. She identifies herself as an advocate for marginalized women.
✨I hope as you listen to Alondra's story, part of her life resonates with you and others inspire you. When I think of Alondra, I think of the tenacity and resilience many South Central women carry. Even with the lack of resources and guidance, Alondra made it happen.
