On today’s show I talk to production designer, Lauren Kelly. Lauren was the production designer on the internationally acclaimed feature film 'You Are Not My Mother’. Other feature films include Claire Dix’s ‘Sunlight’, Damian McCarthy’s ‘ODDITY’ and Marian Quinn's 'TWIG’. Upcoming releases include ‘VISITATION’, produced by Entertainment One, Rumble Films, and Keeper Pictures, as well as ‘September Says’ Directed by Ariane Labed and produced by Element Pictures which premiered at Cannes.

In our conversation we talk all things production design and look at the hierarchy of the design department, how Lauren got started as a designer, how she begins to design a film, working with directors to realise a vision and the importance of collaboration and much more.
