You will eventually get what you want, but right now, just focus on giving. Build that habit of giving. Pay for the person behind you in the Starbucks line. Promote your favorite restaurant on your social media. You can do a lot of things to give to others. And when you're in that mode, it feels good and it feels right. It's the key tactic to success.
