This text has kind of a special meaning for me, as many of you know, because our son was in crisis. Gosh, it seems like years ago, but it was just a few months ago, when he was medevacked out of Kauai. And we went with a real understanding that we probably wouldn't come back with him, that that was a good likelihood that he wouldn't live.



 
And so, as I go through this today, I'm going to be sharing some of our own experiences, some of the blessings that God poured out on us, as well as some of my failures as a Christian and as a pastor through this process.
