Think in the broader context of your team. When you write an estimate you are representing "real people's work" and therefore it is essential to thoroughly capture what is needed to charge a fair price so that you can continue to pay a fair wage.
Think like an adjuster. As a member of the triangle of restoration, you are part of the process to accurately input a scope of work that represents what is needed to restore the structure to resemble pre-loss conditions with materials of like kind and quality (the standard).
