Listen "Ep. 23 Uncovering the dark truths of working with adjusters with Kirk Matthews"
Episode Synopsis
Kirk Matthews, owner of Oregon Valley and Coastal Claim Service, joins us for The DYOJO Podcast Episode 23 to discuss his experiences as both a captive and independent multi-lines insurance adjuster.
Kirk shares some of the common mistakes that he see slowing down the estimate review process as well as hinder contractors from developing relationships with carriers and adjusters. We have a candid conversation about ways that property restoration contractors can work towards better outcomes with insurance representatives for the good of themselves and their clients.
There is no conspiracy or scam here, we just talk means and methods that have worked for both of us from "opposite sides" of the insurance claims "fence". Kirk will also be a contributor to Jon Isaacson's upcoming book Be Intentional: Estimating which you can keep up to date with via The DYOJO website - www.izvents.com/book.
