In this episode, All-Pro safety Derwin James Jr. sits down to share his story. Derwin grew up in Polk County, FL. He later attended Florida State University from ‘15-‘17. After only three seasons, Derwin was drafted 17th overall by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 2018 NFL draft. Since then, he has been a 2x All-Pro selection & a 2x Pro-Bowler. His success is not without hardship as Derwin has endured multiple season-ending injuries, including back-to-back in 2019 & 2020. Derwin shares how his early childhood prepared him for overcoming adversity. He has a fascinating story that will leave you wanting to run through a brick wall.
