This week Zi and Vindesh discuss what it means to be rooted in reality.   As an experiment, Zi spent the week reading different articles and studies just to see where humanity is at.  What he realized is we are further and further away from reality.  Using the example of the placebo effect, Zi shares that often times during those trials individuals who received the placebo still do better because they believe they will.  The reason that same experiment falls flat with animals, is because animals are rooted in the present.  Though we have similar DNA make up, how we perceive the world is far different.  How do we stay rooted in this reality?
