The people God chooses are humble who have a soft heart and were humbled by the fact that God had shown himself to them.- In the story of Christmas God chooses the so-called foolish things of the world to declare his word and goodness. God chooses the people who aren't puffed up with pride to use. - Simeon - when God spoke he did it so that at the opportune time Simeon was there to prophesy over the Saviour of the world- Chief opponents to Jesus missed out because of their pride and thinking we know how God is going to do something. Don’t miss what God is doing because it doesn’t fit your understanding or you’re not sure. Let God show you. If not sure, put it on the shelf and allow God to bring you understanding.
