Kios is an indie rock band out of Nashville, TN that has been described as joyous indie-pop, with vibrant and uplifting melodies hard to ignore. The 3 piece is made up of Cole (vocals/guitar), Aaron (drums), and Mitch (bass). Cole and Aaron met through a previous band that formed at Belmont University - Aaron and Mitch grew up together in Newark, Ohio; all 3 moved to Nashville in 2014 to pursue music.

In the summer of 2017, the trio moved in together which sparked the idea of creating music. Cole decided to spend the summer in his hometown, Richmond, Virginia, where he began writing songs and recording demos for the project. The three sent demos back and forth, drawing in on their rock and pop backgrounds and thus, Kios began. They dropped their first single, “Be Loved” in March of 2018. The trio has been compared to names such as COIN, Colony House, Bad Suns, Two Door Cinema Club, and Phoenix. They plan to release an EP by the end of summer 2018.
