Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Virginia, West Virginia, and the territory of Puerto Rico have declared Election Day a civic holiday. 
I'm in IL and I don't remember having a holiday on Election Day in 2020, but my memory is pretty bad so I guess it's possible! :) 
But it could also potentially be dependent on the business. I'm not sure! 
Either way, It needs to be a Federal Holiday!
