Spending time with God's Word helps us to grow closer to Him, grow in intimacy with Him. When we take the time to really dive into His Word, to use imaginative prayer, picturing ourselves alongside Jesus, witnessing His miracles, we can more effectively hear Him speak to us. We become more open to hearing His Voice, more open to receiving His Love.
