Listen "Silence in a Year Day 58 Divine Liberation"
Episode Synopsis
What struck me the most about this reflection is where Cardinal Sarah says “silence is a divine liberation that unifies man and places him at the center of himself, in the depths of God’s Mysteries.” The depths being the depths of God, because when you become one with Him, the things of this world do not matter. Jesus died to liberate us from ourselves. We are our own worst enemy, and when we turn into God, he frees us from ourselves. Being in silence with God in our hearts is not restricting, it is much the opposite. He frees me from the storms raging around me, to save me from myself and show me that if I allow myself to be to totally and completely reliant on him, my soul will be saved.
