Listen "What Happened To The Xserve"
Episode Synopsis
The Apple Xserve was a very obscure rack-mounted server Apple used to make in the early 2000’s. As the listener who asked the question pointed out, it sounded like a very useful tool, so why did Apple stop supporting it? In this episode, we’re diving deep beyond the surface-level answers as to why Apple not only stopped selling it, but also stopped supporting it from a software perspective. As an added bonus, we'll also tackle whether or not it's worth picking up an Xserve for yourself. We are covering all of this and more on this episode of The Dark Assassins Podcast.
