Listen "The End For GitLab? How Anti-Virus Really Works, How to Speed Up Your Programs | Operation Core Dump"
Episode Synopsis
GitLab is allegedly going to be deleting repos from users in the free tier if they have “dormant” repos. What does this mean for developers? What are my plans seeing as I fall into this category as a free tier user? We are also discussing, in a very sarcastic way, how anti-virus truly works to prevent your system from becoming infected. We are also diving deep in to how programs are made faster with multithreading and multiprocessing and all the pros and cons that come with it and some issues you have to be aware of before you implement it into your programs, as well as if you should even implement it in your programs in the first place.
