The Daily Office: Evening Prayer, a compilation of Rite II from the Episcopal Book of Common Prayer, and supplemental liturgical materials from St. John’s-Grace and Enriching Our Worship, Volumes 1 & 2. Today is Maundy Thursday. We use the readings from the Eucharistic Lectionary: Psalm 116:1-2 & 12-19, , Exodus 12:1-4 & 11-14, 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, and the Gospel of John 13:1-17 & 31b-35. We pray for communal grief. We continue to use an inclusive-language Affirmation of Faith based on Ephesians 3:14-17, written by John Schimminger of St. John’s-Grace Episcopal.
